What kind of activities we do?

The membership has a wide range of interests. Common to them all is interest to various forms of communication, and natural sciences in overall. Most of our members are radio-amateurs, some have vocation in the radio-technology areas.

Our members have varying interests:

• Radioamateur activity
• Astronomy
• Sauna
• Single-malt whisky
• Overall relaxation and recuperation
• Satellite tracking and operation
• Staging lectures
• Event organization by subject matter

• Functional ship radar for education purposes
• Radio amateur station (OH2MOH, OH2Z)
• Internet connection
• Meteosat receiver
• Amateur-TV repeater
• Varying different size paraboloid mirrors for varying wavelengths
• Multiple powers for varying purposes
• 3 HF-band log-periodic antennas for 10 to 30 MHz
• Other HF-band yagis
• VHS and UHF antennas
• Varying wire-antennas (dipoles, rhombis)
• Astronomical telescope, and observatory for optical amateur astronomy
• Radio technology, and electronics library
• Sauna, and shower space

What other things we maintain:

• Radio amateur packet network digipeater
• Radio amateur repeater at 435 MHz band

What we want more:

• To raise the Great Pumpking!
• Building materials for the Great Pumpking, and other projects

• Construct satellite ground-station for radio amateur satellites
• Connect that, and other radio stations into the Internet
• To modernize the 4.0 meter dish control system to be computer controlled
• To make so called EME (Earth - Moon - Earth) station with that dish
