The Viestikallio site has multiple networks for different uses, and more are being worked on. Something will be replaced with newer technologies.

The adjacent picture shows existing, and new mechanically built networks with solid lines, and planned networks with dashed lines.

The Copper-CAT5 network will be dismanteled from between the buildings (galvanic isolation!), with sole exception of Sauna/Office to Observatory cabling.
