Viestikallio Fiber Net Building;

Pre-bending the end of the protective PVC pipe:

Juha, OH1MRH, drills holes on radio-hut floor:

Hmm... there it should be done...:
[01718008.jpg]

It should be done into that corner:
[01718010.jpg]

The hole is there:
[01718012.jpg]

And now also the PVC pipe is in place:
[01718013.jpg]

The pipe is a bit too long, Luru and Juha are cutting it with a saw trying to avoid cutting the pull-line already in it:
[01718014.jpg]

The cut has been done, soon it will be placed into building: (result has not been photographed??)

Juha is unwinding the fiber cable in preparation to pulling it inside the PVC pipe:

The cable has been played out to ease its pulling into the pipe, at the time of the picture taking, a lot has been already put into the pipe!

The fiber cable is in the pipe!
[01718025.jpg]

The fiber cable is in a pipe going below Sauna building pulled near its end, and Juha is sealing the end:

Weather developed a nasty streak, one picture from underneath of summer's meanest thunderstorm's clouds:

Couple months latter we went below the Sauna and installed that particular cable in place!

Underneath the building is tight and dirty. Matti, OH2MQK, spreads "small" (2m x 3m) cover sheets on ground while crawling onwards into the middle of the building:

Something has removed insulations from around the drain pipes. No wonder the drain did freeze last winter.

The black pipe in the middle is still overlong protective PVC covertube for e.g. fiber cable:

Under the building there is little space, we decided to use a standard 45° tube angle part.

This is view from above:

Box for the active devices, and the fiber cable into it:

The equipment box was attached into plywood inner wall with this kind of self-collapsing "Molly" fixtures:

What all we found from under the building:
