Viestikallio "Monument" Tower Stairs

Presently people go up to the "Monument" by squeezing into one of four foundation towers, and climbing the internal ladder. (The foremost tower in the picture below.)

That is most inconvenient route...

The proposals below use 700-1000 mm wide stairs and intermediate levels. Step-lengths and step-heights vary.

Plan number 4:

Linear stair runs around the structure in between 4 towers.

Step-length: 300 mm, step-height: 200 mm.

Intermediate levels: 2

Steps: 39

Plan number 1:

Linear stair runs in between two foundation towers.

Problem is the great length of the lower run.

Step-length: 200mm, step-height: 200 mm.

Intermediate levels: 1

Plan number 2:

Circular/whatever stairs around one base tower.

Lots of intermediate levels, short runs, lots of small bits.

Plan number 3:

Linear stair runs around the structure in between 4 towers; precursor of idea number 4.

The upper intermediate level has unnecesserily complicated shape. Step-length a bit too small for convenient walk downwards.

Step-length: 200mm, step-height: 150mm.
